An outstanding wine, showing wonderful concentration of flavour. Opaque, crimson mauve colour. The nose is a superb sniff, with lifted nose of violets, spice, plum, mocca and prunes, followed by end notes of spice and blackpepper. The palate is mouthfilling, with an explosive power wave of flavour. Plum, spice, blackberry, blackpepper and mocca. Exceptional length and persistence. Fine grained, perfectly balanced tannins, followed by an exceptionally long aftertaste of mocca, blackpepper and spice.
