1998 Pepper Tree Shiraz

Deep crimson purple mauve colour. Lifted nose with spiced plum and liquorice flavours, with a slightly hard palate, followed some green flavours. Good persistence with the black pepper characteristics re emerging, however, despite the soft tannin structure the acid levels appear to be excessive. Cellar 2-3 years.
