A generous, reliable commercial stand by with plenty of oak, peach, citrus and butterscotch flavour. Deep straw colour with green film. The nose displays some toasty oak aromas, followed by obvious and rather formulated aromas of cinnamon, butterscotch and spice with a hint of yeast lees. The wine is predictable, yet at the same time reliable. Mouthfilling palate of generous peach and melon flavours with the oak being a touch dominant, but there is no shortage of flavour. Clean finish followed by peach, citrus and butterscotch aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
