1998 Normans Cabernet Sauvignon

Another very youthful looking wine. Glass clinging, crimson mauve colour. The nose is filled with the aromas of blackcurrants, violets, spice and cedar. The fruit on the palate is virtually swamped by the very fine, very dry tannins, however, there is plenty of ripe fruit flavour. Blackcurrant, chocolate, vanilla, spice and cedar. Time will be generous and bring the components into balance and add compexity. Cellar 5-6 years.
