The history of this wine goes back to Miranda’s founder Frank ‘Pop’ Miranda, who having arrived in Australia in 1938 found himself interned in a POW camp. ‘Pop’ Miranda began reconstituting dried grapes to make wine for himself, other prisoners and the guards as well. The release of this wine commemorates Miranda's beginnings. The wine has been made using dried Muscat grapes. Bright golden colour with green hue. Aroma of sweet tea, raisins and sultanas with a hint of spice and orange. The palate is rich and luscious with honeyed raisin and sultana flavours. Moderate length, with spicy background. Sultana, orange aftertaste. Clean finish.
