1998 Lindemans Limestone Coast Shiraz

The Limestone Coast is getting a lot of attention from both grape growers and producers and judging from the vibrancy of the first vintage from the Lindemans Vineyard it's no wonder.Vibrant crimson purple mauve colour. Delightful young lifted ripe blackberry, spice, inky aroma with a fresh liquorice background. Excellent palate weight for a first vintage, again filled with spicy blackberry and ink, plum flavour. Excellent fine grained tannins followed by long plum, ripe blackberry, spice and oak aftertaste. A wonderful start. Cellar 2-3 years.
