This wine is already showing signs of bottle age. Very deep crimson, brick red colour. Delightful nose, filled with the aroma of violets, confectionary, stewed plum and spice followed by a dark chocolate end note. The palate lets the nose down being relatively short. Flavours of stewed plum over a background of dark chocolate and spice. Fine dry tannins, followed by a long aftertaste of stewed plum and earth.
