1998 Hollick Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is made from a blend of 55% Shiraz and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon. Brilliant vibrant purple colour. The nose displays aromas of blackpepper, plum, blackcurrant, spice and cedar. The palate shows complexity and depth with flavours of ripe plum, spice, stewed fruit and blackpepper evident. Although the wine is tightly knit, the balance of fruit and tannin is achieved, followed by long stewed plum, spice and liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
