1998 Hardys Eileen Hardy Chardonnay

A Chardonnay of exceptional quality. Bright pale straw colour. Superb, complex nose of nut, almonds cashew, strong butterscotch and yeast lees. A powerful nose, indicating a wine of great complexity. The palate is again very complex and follows the nose with flavours of hazelnut, yeast lees, cashews, biscuits and smoked almonds. Outstanding length and persistence with powerful palate flavours that persist very long into the aftertaste. A serious example and a must for the collector. Cellar 3-4 years.
