Distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2021, this single cask Bowmore looks to be something special and quite rare with only 150 bottles produced. Expect a big, bold and salty nose with a hint of sweet autumnal peat and baked apples in the mouth. The sweet peat develops into a sugary cereal layer with a softly spice, gentle ash and a dulcet phenolic finish. The colour and notes suggest some sherry input. 48.6% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
