Opaque crimson black colour with a mauve edge. Superb nose with the easily recognised Elderton aroma of ripe plums, spice, liquorice, blackberry, toasted oak and vanilla. Mouthfilling palate flavours of dark chocolate, liquorice and spice. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance followed by long aftertaste of ripe plums, spice, blackpepper and liquorice allsorts. CLASSIC BAROSSA. Cellar 5-8 years.
