1998 Edwards & Chaffey E&C Shiraz

A very well made ripe style. Deep crimson mauve colour. The nose is youthful and displays a characteristic inky plum, blackberry aroma which is followed by a hint of vanilla oak. The palate flavours are impressive showing both depth and concentration of flavour. Stewed fruit, ripe plum, vanilla and spice flavours are supported by fine grained soft tannins followed by long plum, stewed fruit and spice aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
