Outstanding purple crimson colour, totally opaque. Superb perfumed nose of violets, blackcurrants, vanilla and cedar - a great sniff! The palate structure is tightly knit and built to last for the next 8-10 years. Superb flavour of blackcurrant, plum, confectionary and spice. Fine grained, firmish tannins, well balanced by the generous fruit flavours, excellent length and persistence, slightly warm finish, followed by long blackcurrant, spice and plum aftertaste. Cellar 8-10 years.
