1998 Douglas Laing & Co. Old Particular Single Cask Inchgower 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A decent age statement on this Inchgower also comes with a more than reasonable price tag (compare Diageo's 2020 release which opened at $550). Given less than one percent of the total production is bottled as a single malt, this East Speyside rarity is unusual to find at the best of times. The fact that Douglas Laing's comes from a sherry butt makes it even more intriguing. Expect aromas of lemon drizzle cake, juicy barley and dried apricots with a palate of buttered hot cross buns, milk chocolate and lemon peels lingering long after the first sip. 51.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
