A remarkable wine given that it is only the first vintage from 3 year old vines. To achieve such excellent concentration of colour and flavour the vines were cropped at less than half a tonne per acre.Totally opaque purple crimson colour, quite magnificent. Concentrated mouthfilling palate. Flavours of blackberry, spice, liquorice and blackpepper abound. Very fine, very firm, yet well balanced tannins, followed by long spicy, inky, blackberry aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
