Made from a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet. The 1998 Vicar displays opaque black crimson colour. Superb nose with lifted aroma of blackcurrant, blackberry, cedar, spice, liquorice and vanilla. Mouthfilling palate with generous ripe fruit flavours reflecting the strength of the vintage. Flavours of plum, spice, ripe blackcurrant, and liquorice. Fine grain tannins, perfect balance, followed by long persistent aftertaste of plum, blackcurrant and liquorice. Cellar for 5-8 years.
