This wine spent 18 months in 75% new, Nevers, Allier and Troncais oak barrels. A lush, ripe bouquet of sweet ripe currents interlaces seamlessly with leather and cigar box notes derived from quality French oak. The generously proportioned palate starts with a core of rich berry fruit, expanding to a multi-dimensional flavour profile. Poised powdery tannins provide the perfect framework to give the wine length and breadth. A beguiling wine. 13.8% alcohol.
