Bright pale straw colour. Lifted nose of toasted oak, cashew and a hint of butterscotch. On the palate flavours of peach, tropical fruit, biscuit and some yeast lees. A very well made wine, but without the complexity or intensity of the 1997. The acidity will hold up for the short term, say 2-3 years. Yeast lees and tropical fruits on the aftertaste.
