1998 Best's Victoria Cabernet Sauvignon

A very youthful wine that desperately needs to be cellared for at least another 2 years before it becomes approachable but having said that, you'll be very happy indeed with the decision.Medium body crimson mauve colour. Lifted nose of spice and freshly crushed blackcurrants and blackberries. The youthful qualities of Cabernet are very evident on the palate with the tannins being assertive and a touch out of balance at this stage - be patient! Long lingering liquorice and confectionary aftertaste. Cellar 4-5 years.
