Bright straw colour. Grassy, herbaceous nose followed by green capsicum and asparagus end notes, leaving the Chardonnay component totally subdued. On the palate peach and melon flavours move in, and over the herbaceous green fruit flavours components to create a conflict that literally ends up with a bitter finish. The match would have been much more successful had the Semillon component been riper. Cellar 1-2 years.
