A new release from Amberley being sold as a Dry Red with no disclosures except to say it is made from premium grape varieties. Medium bodied brick red colour. Spicy plum and cherry aromas with a hint of liquorice allsorts as an end note. On the palate a range of flavours emerge - plum, spice, strawberry and cherry with a slightly game, earth overtone. Fine but firmish tannins, followed by a cherry spice aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
