Region: 11 communes of the Langhe hills around Alba in the north west region of Piemonte.
Characteristics: Barolo is called” the king of wines and the wine of Kings”. An extremely robust and powerful red dominated by spicy cherry fruit with harmonious complexity after time in oak and bottle ageing. There is also a hint of violets and truffles on both nose and palate.
Serve: 18ºC and decant or allow time to breathe.
