Linkwood fans, don't hesitate! This is one of the smaller volume Cask Strength Signatorys to land, and it's all Bourbon matured which (in our opinion) shows Linkwood at its fruitiest and finest. Other reviews... There is something special about Linkwood, but I can't quite put my finger on it. A tropical fruit cocktail awaits, think of mango, pineapple and hints of coconut, followed by soft wood spices, orange peel and spearmint. What a lovely nose! Fruity-sweet in the arrival, the palate gravitates towards ripe peaches, ginger candies and eucalyptus. It's surprisingly delicate and silky at first, growing firmer as the age starts to shine through. The slightly grassy finish evolves with apricot jam, cloves and papaya.
