An outstanding wine. A blend of 83% Shiraz and 17% Cabernet Sauvignon and matured in new American oak hogsheads for 18 months. Deep crimson purple colour. Aromas of chocolate, ripe plums, vanilla and violets, verging on being perfumed. Mouthfilling palate with flavour of spicy blackcurrant, very ripe plum and vanilla. Excellent weight and mouthfeel, fine grained soft tannins, perfect balance with very long plum liquorice and spice aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years.
