A Classic Hunter style showing very good bottle developed character. Crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. Superb nose, quite perfumed in its character with top notes of leather, spiced plum and just a hint of what has been traditionally known in the Hunter as ‘sweaty saddle’. The palate is dry, yet supported by developed fruit flavours of earth, spice, stewed plum and a hint of leather. Very impressive length, with fine dry tannins persisting followed by a strong earth and leather aftertaste.
