An outstanding Australian Merlot with a perfumed nose. Opaque brick red colour. The nose is a superb sniffing experience, with aroma of violets, mulberry, spice, tea kettle and liquorice. The palate flavours are mouthfilling and display excellent length and complexity with flavours of spice and mulberry over a background of raspberry and liquorice, with again that very interesting hint of tea on the back palate. Very fine, dry tannins, perfectly balanced with very long mulberry, spice aftertaste. Cellar 3-5 years.
