1997 Fattoria Petrolo Terre di Galatrona Sangiovese Merlot

Grape Varieties: 70% Sangiovese and 30% Merlot.
Region: From the vineyards located in the province of Arezzo in Tuscany.
Characteristics: The colour is dark and dense; the nose is concentrated and rich, deep and fruity pervaded by toasty oak. It is a simple wine, but nevertheless and agreeable and satisfying one.
Serve: 18-20° Celsius
Try it with: It is an excellent accompaniment to any hearty meat or pasta dish. Try it with a traditional Eggplant Parmigiano, baked and topped with loads of Parmigiano.
