1997 Douglas Laing & Co. XOP Xtra Old Particular Ledaig 21 Year Old Single Cask Limited Release Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Ledaig, aka peated Tobermory, seems to mature fairly early. However Douglas Laing present us with this very old expression as part of their exceptional Xtra Old Particular range. Distilled on the Isle of Mull back in July 1997 and left to age in a single refill hogshead until May 2019, it was finally bottled with an outturn of 260 bottles. This should be packed with smokey bacon, notes of iodine, peated barley and subtle burnt brown sugar flavours. Non chill filtered. 50.9% Alc./Vol. Very limited stocks.
