A huge wine! Typical zinfandel nose - cloves, nutmeg and allspice with sweet overtones of liquorice and plums. The palate is full bodied, robust and quite restrained displaying spicy blackcurrant flavours with overtones of vanillin oak. Firm dry dusty tannins and very long aftertaste. Cellar up to 10 years. 15.5% alcohol volume.
