1996 Parker Coonawarra Estate Terra Rossa Cabernet Sauvignon

This is the second label of Parker and like the First Growth wine is produced in limited quantities (only 2,000 cases made). This wine is another example of the excellent 1996 vintage in Coonawarra, which has produced full flavoured and wonderfully balanced wines. Matured in small French & American oak casks. Deep crimson brick red colour. Aromas of violets, blackcurrant and spice with just a faint trace of tea leaf at the very end. This is an elegant style - beautifully made, with spice and blackcurrant palate flavours dominant. Fine grained tannins and excellent length with long cedar, blackcurrant and a hint of tea leaf aftertaste. Cellar 5-8 years. 13% Alcohol Volume.
