A key player in Ballantine’s, this Moray coast distillery is rarely seen in single malt guise. A slightly younger bottling under the same label received a strong review from Jim Murray (92.5 points). Also from a refill Bourbon barrel, this double-decader was distilled in 1996 and released under the Connoisseur's Choice label. These selections come from unique barrels and invite you to travel through the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland. Cask #5807 yielded just 135 bottles at natural strength. G&M describe aromas and flavours of vanilla and pineapple, lemon sherbet, black pepper, citrus and spice. 55.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. Very limited stocks.
