Very deep brick red colour. The nose is impressive and clearly demonstrates the Bordeaux influence. Aroma of earth, truffle, cedar and a hint of confectionery. The palate structure is a touch on the lean side and reflects the year, with relatively tighter acid levels. The length of flavour is excellent with blackcurrant, truffle, spice and cedar flavours dominant. Fine grained tannins with long aftertaste.
