1996 d'Arenberg The Footbolt Old Vines Shiraz

Deep crimson mauve colour. The nose displays uplifted peppery blackberry spice nose with lots of ripe berry aromas. The ripe fruit flavours are abundant on the palate with plenty of ripe blackberries and plums bouncing around a liquorice background. Fine grained, firm tannins but in balance to the fruit. Long spicy blackberry plum aftertaste. Cellar 4 - 6 years.
