Opaque crimson mauve colour. The nose displays appealing aromas of confectionary, vanilla, and ripe blackberries. The palate has good weight with ripe plum, stewed fruit and dark chocolate flavours dominant with a hint of pepper spice in the background. Fine tannin structure with long dark chocolate plum / spice aftertaste. Cellar 5 - 8 years.
