1996 Best's Great Western Cabernet Sauvignon

A serious wine that will repay 10-15 years cellaring. Opaque crimson colour. Intense aromas of ripe plum, spice, stewed fruit and blackcurrant followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate displays considerable weight - with excellent mint, chocolate, blackcurrant, liquorice and spice palate flavours - mouthfilling - with just a hint of earthiness finding its way onto the end palate. Fine grained tannins, well balanced with long blackcurrant, mint, spice, liquorice and plum aftertaste. A collectors wine!
