1995 Signatory Vintage Port Dundas 29 Year Old Cask Strength Single Grain Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A decade ago, it was common to receive a dozen or more Port Dundas releases every year. They're becoming less frequent, almost to a stop, but that's been on the cards for a while. As a permanently closed distillery the remaining liquid has to run out some time. Now would seem like a good time to buy. Bottlings of this age are approaching full maturity, typically layered with flavours of sweet corn, vanilla, golden syrup, pastry and sometimes hints of dried banana from the American oak.  218 bottles were drawn from a bourbon hogshead at 57% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
