1995 Rymill Coonawarra Shiraz

Opaque crimson colour. Delightful aroma of cedar and violets. The middle palate displays good weight with cedar and blackpepper flavours dominant over a inky blackberry background. Well made, with fine firm tanninstructure and peppery blackpepper aftertaste with lingering dry tannins. John Innes has produced a very competent wine, however, it does not quite reach the high notes of the previous vintage. Cellar 3 - 5 years.
