1995 Reynell Basket Pressed Cabernet Sauvignon

An excellent example of solid McLaren Vale Cabernet. Opaque crimson colour. Superb aromas of ripe plums, confectionary and spice. The palate is full bodied and built for the long haul. An interesting juxtaposition of flavours that are reminiscent of Central Victoria. Mint, blackcurrants and chocolate palate flavours fill the mouth and are enhanced by a hint of classy oak. Fine, yet very firm tannins, well supported by the generous fruit and long blackcurrant chocolate aftertaste. Cellar 8-10 years.
