Tasting note: Matured in a Bourbon cask. Beautiful pale gold. Superb purity, a touch of pepper over sweeter scents of short bread, beeswax and lemon butter. The waxiness wavers. Later poached pears? A creamy, highly textural, vaguely fruity whisky; juicy to the point of succulence on the finish. Orchard fruits linger. Bourbon oak peeks in late. Quite flawless balance. 44.7% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 307 bottles.
