The 1995 Porphry is made from Coonawarra botrytis affected Riesling. Brilliant, brassy gold colour. Aroma of toffee, caramel and marmalade over a honey background. The wine is beginning to show signs of age. On the palate, luscious mouthfeel with flavours of toffee and marmalade, followed by a hint of citrus. Moderate length, soft acid finish, followed by an aftertaste of honey, citrus and marmalade.Cellar 3-4 years (2005-2006).
