Due to low rainfall in 1995 the yields were much lower than normal, however the lower yields resulted in much more concentrated wines. Made from 100% Clare Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose displays intense blackcurrant and cedar aromas. The palate is full bodied displaying rich blackcurrant fruit with overtones of spice, marzipan and charry oak which are supported by a firm tannin structure. Excellent concentration and structure. Cellar 10 years. 13.9% Alcohol Volume.Awarded 4 Gold Medals.
