1995 Evans & Tate Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a superb, tightly knit Cabernet - quite restrained at the moment demanding time to achieve complete harmony. Opaque crimson colour. Superb nose, displaying aromas of cedar, blackcurrant, violets and confectionary - and awaiting a complete blossom in 10 years time. The palate is tight with the Cabernet Sauvignons fine tannins creating a frame work that lasts well into the aftertaste. The fruit flavours are concentrated dominated by spicy blackcurrants, excellent balance and very long aftertaste. Cellar 8 - 10 years.
