A magnificent, solidly built Shiraz with at least a decade of cellaring required to reach its optimum.Totally opaque, crimson brick red colour. Superb aromas of confectionary, blackberry jam, vanilla spice and plum with hints of liquorice. The palate flavours are intense, concentrated and firmly knit together for long bottle maturation. Generous ripe plum flavours are supported by chocolate and vanilla back palate flavours. Beautiful ripe Barossa fruit running right through the wine. Very fine, firm tannins, perfectly balanced, yet remaining pronounced all the way to the finish. Liquorice, plum, chocolate spice aftertaste. Cellar 8 - 10 years.
