1994 Stanton & Killeen Moodemere Cabernet Shiraz

Time seems to have stood still at Stanton and Killeen. This is still very much an old fashioned style with no apologies for it - it won't appeal to everyone, but that probably will not worry Norm or Chris Killeen. Deep brick red colour, ripe plums, hint of tar and just a touch jammy, with a leathery background. The palate is old fashioned, reflecting the classic Rutherglen style - big leathery fruit, almost sweet, with firm tannin structure and stewed fruit aftertaste. Cellar 5 to 8 years.
