1993 Seville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine does not have the power nor the persistence of the Shiraz, but none the less is a delightful example of a medium weight Bordeaux style. The wine has small amounts of Merlot and Cabernet Franc blended with it. Deep crimson mauve colour. Superb nose of blackcurrants, spice and cedar with hints of violet and mint. The palate flavours are subtle, with plum, spice and a hint of liquorice - very fine tannin structure, soft beautifully balanced with spice confectionary aftertaste. Cellar 3 - 5 years.
