1993 Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon

Crop Yield: 4.0 tonnes per acre.Vintaged from a cool year where the worry was achieving fruit ripeness, and for once not rain was not a problem! Medium weight crimson colour. The nose is impressive with perfumed aromas of confectionary and violets. The palate is relatively lean and lacks the concentration of flavour, again reflecting the very cool vintage conditions. Fine dry tannin structure which lingers well into the aftertaste, supporting blackcurrants and leather palate flavours. Long lingering dry tannin aftertaste.
