Named after the red ironstone soil found in the CorioleVineyards. This is an excellent wine from an outstandingvintage. Made from 65% Shiraz and 35% Cabernet, the wine hasall the Coriole trademarks. Deep crimson mauve colour. The nosedisplays lots of ripe fruit aromas with spicy plums and cassisdominating. The palate has plenty of depth and brings thecabernet right into play with cherry plum and blackcurrantflavours. There is a hint of leather, fine firm tannins and longspicy/pepper aftertaste.\Z
