1993 Carn Mor "Celebration of the Cask" Glenlossie 27 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Tasting note: [30ml sample] Near three decades in a single ex-Bourbon barrel yields a well weighted Glenlossie with aromas of pineapple and sponge cake, peach pastilles and vanilla bean. Gorgeous, textural malt. Again, peachy and fruity, almost bourbonesque on entry. Nice oak balance, the finish picks up the sweetness in a borderline luscious rush that's sustained, beeswaxy and fruity through the aftertaste. Distinctive and quite delectable stuff. 49.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Malt with vanillan notes, candy-floss and warm peaches with a long lingering finish.
