This Speyside underdog operated between 1898 and 1902, and then again from 1965 until 2002 when it was finally dismantled. A few indie bottlings were trickling out but new releases have completely dried up in recent years. The flavour profile for this limited edition from Laing's sounds intriguing. 281 bottles were drawn from a refill hogshead at 49.7% Alc./Vol. Non-chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Early peppered steak, autumn fruits and honey, followed by cedar, barley sugar and oak with a warm spicy finish, syrup and cough drops.
