The internationally acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignons from Lindemans St George Vineyard are recognised as some of the best red wines from the famous Coonawarra region. The 1988 Vintage has the reputation as a classic Coonawarra vintage.
Tasting Note: Medium crimson red colour. The bouquet shows complex blackcurrant, green leaf minty Cabernet Sauvignon characters typical of great Coonawarra styles, with excellent sweet oak integration. The elegant palate has medium full-bodied cedary varietal fruit flavours layered with complex oak characters finishing with soft tannin.
